“The Proof that We are Soulmates” is a video which manages to make statistics romantic. The video, animated by video producer Emanuele Colombo, is inspired by an infographic, created as Drake Martinet’s proposal to his girlfriend. Martinet carefully calculated the statistical improbability of finding his soulmate, coming to the conclusion that his girlfriend’s perfection is nothing short of a miracle. Colombo animated the infographic, applying endearing graphics and tinkly music to Martinet’s words, in hopes that each viewer will “share this video with [their] soulmate!”
