The students in Dsquared2’s Autumn/Winter 2012 campaign clearly have nothing left to learn about fashion. The promotional video, directed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, opens onto a brightly colored classroom, featuring a group of apathetic students, including Daphne Groeneveld, who recently turned heads in the Dior Addict campaign. The bored (though extremely fashionable) students are pulled out of their reverie when their substitute teachers arrive bearing gifts. Dsquared2 designers, Dean & Dan, dressed identically, open suitcases to reveal stunning new fashions, and proceed with the first lesson of the day—runway walks. This fun and playful look at the upcoming collection matches the sparkly meets studious look of the clothes themselves.
