Paris Crossover

Published in Music , Filmmaking by George Levitikos, edited by Steve Nass.

This is a 6 minute music video for the song “The Cross Over” by Paris, featured on their EP “Crowded Subways”.

The video begins with a woman plunging underwater. You might at first think she’s drowning but she seems rather calm about things, slowly swimming around in a flowing purple dress as the music plays. The song, like her swimming, is slow and soothing, occasionally punctuated by the lead singer’s chorus.

The video plays with how light, color and reflections appear underwater. We get close ups of the woman’s face as light shines on her cheeks, shots of the woman’s clothing in different colors and glimpses of how water creates multiple, rippling reflections of the body.

If you like the video’s style and Paris’s sound you can get their album on Itunes for only $3.994
