Seventeen year old Dutch model, Daphne Groeneveld, captures the camera as she struts, skips and dances her way through the pretty streets of St. Tropez in the new film for Dior Addict perfume.

Directed by Jonas Akerlund, known for videos such as Lady Gaga’s “Telephone” and Madonna’s “Ray of Light”, the video draws inspiration from Roger Vadim’s classic film “…And God Created Woman”.

Groenveld herself describes Dior Addict as a perfume for “an independent stylish woman…but with a bit of humour!” a sentiment the film captures perfectly. Director Jonas Akerlund serves up scenes capturing the picturesque beauty of St. Tropez and seriously stylish retro outfits, spiced up with bright colors, peppy music (provided by Stereo Total), and animated accents.

Groeneveld actually looks like she’s enjoying herself, constantly flashing her irresistible smile, making me nostalgic for a decade I missed by a good 30 years.

The art of seduction and being free by Daphné Groeneveld!
